the cinderella project: because every girl deserves a happily ever after: Colorscapes: Going Green

I wanted to share these images from The Cinderella Project.  I saw them in Martha Stewart Wedding Magazine and when they popped up again...I had to post them.  I sometimes think that brides get into a rut of two "wives tales".  First, it is a common thought that there MUST be a three color choice.  Two main colors and then an "accent".  Not true!  This bride picked green and white and as you can see...it looks great.  This leads me to the next misconception............the green does not have to match perfectly!  Let me repeat myself...the colors do not have to be the exact same.  As someone who does mostly wedding invitations, I am sometimes dealing with the bride that wants all her colors to match perfectly.  From her paper choice, bridesmaids dressed all the way down to the flowers.  A little variation looks authentic.  When weddings are too "matchy matchy" they tend to look like "cookie cutter" events.  Don't get me wrong.  I love to carry a design throughout from save the dates down to the escort cards.  But, I always like to add some  variation in the design.....only if the bride agrees of course :)!!
