Drop the drop-down ceiling...Indiana's Unique Wedding Venues

When it comes to weddings or any other event for that matter...I am a sucker for detail.  The littlest touch can pull your whole event together.  While little touches are important..so are the big ones! I love weddings that take places in unique surroundings.

Here are my pics for Indiana's most unique and beautiful (and maybe unknown) wedding venues. I only have nine listed..looking for ten!  Let me know who I'm missing!

The Sanctuary, The Art of N.A. Noel

The Art of N.A. Noël located in the historic village of Zionsville, Indiana. Home to N.A. Noël’s extraordinary artwork, this fully restored 19th-century Victorian church boasts a 25-foot fireplace, a grand staircase that leads to a catwalk overlooking the main gallery, and original stained glass windows. A deeply beautiful and restorative space, The Sanctuary offers a stunning backdrop for a truly unique experience.

Conner Prairie Living History Museum

Choose from a room with a spectacular view of the open prairie or a private retreat house nestled in the woods. How about an outdoor picnic pavilion or a down-home barn? Spread out over 800 acres of scenic land, this is the perfect setting for your next big event. You won't find another staff more dedicated to making your event flawless. Large or small, casual or elegant, we can handle your catered event and add the special touches that make Conner Prairie unique.

Indianapolis Marion County Library

Whether you are looking for a distinctive location for your special event or special day, look at Central Library. Many ceremony and reception venues are available within the four-story glass Atrium, gardens, Reading Rooms in the historic Cret Building and the Vista Concourse and Special Collections Room on the scenic 6th Floor

The Dunham House

Built circa 1880’s, on the former Miami Indian Reserve, the 5,000 sq.ft. farm house; had fallen into disrepair over several years. It is currently owned by Shawn Christopher Clements and is undergoing restoration.

Mill Top

Built almost entirely of brick and timber, this beautiful historic building now boasts event space that can easily be described as Urban Chic with sophisticated amenities such as optional valet parking, LED lighting, TV monitors and a granite topped built in bar.

Avon Gardens offers an intimate and romantic setting for your wedding, nestled amidst five acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and water features. Evening receptions are simply breathtaking with over 500 candles and festive lighting scattered through the gardens. Let us help you create a unique wedding event that you and your guests will always remember, immersed in the tranquility and peacefulness of nature.

Indianapolis Museum of Art
